Response to anonymous
Anonymous asked, "What do you plan to do to change ASB? What skills do you bring? Organization, or creativity? Why should I vote for William Oh?"
Dear Anonymous,
I apologize that I cannot answer in a more better format, but I am limited in who to address it to! XD
But in response to your question, I plan to build upon the progress I helped start this year regarding internal reform. I am proud to say that I have been at the forefront of ASB internal reform fighting for more accountability and organization. I helped introduce numerous planning guides and continually collaborated with the event organizers to ensure that everything was top quality to ensure the best service to the student body. Because ASB student government exists to serve you, the student. In short, I see ASB as the unifier of the student body. We are very fortunate to have a very diverse student body, and I want to help oversee ASB become that unifier, to make GV become one so we become stronger.
I bring a lot of vital skills that are important to the office of ASB President. I am extremely responsible and committed to bringing you the best experience at school. But my most important "skill" is my passion. I love helping people and I truly enjoy the countless hours that I spend on ASB. You gave me two choices, organization or creativity, but why not both? I am extremely organized and have what it takes to implement my vision. But I am also creative. A better word might be innovative. I never stop thinking of how I can help improve ASB and GV and I bring a lot of new ideas to the table. But I am also not afraid to listen to others either. In fact, I welcome it. One of my top goals for next year is to improve the student voice in our student government and want to make it easy for any student to make creative suggestions that they would like ASB to consider.
And for the answer to the final question... all I can say is that it is up to you. But I remind you that before you make your decision, research the candidates, see what each brings to offer, and choose who you believe will most benefit the school. You have a right to vote. Use it. And thanks for taking the time to contact me. I appreciate your questions.
Here to serve,
